Nestled within a private
garden and only one and a half minutes walk to Leura village, this exquisite
turn-of-the-century cottage is totally dedicated to relaxation and
indulgence. Strawberry Patch is the ultimate sanctuary from everyday

The cottage has everything from an exquisite spa, finest linen, doonas, feather and down pillows, sheepskin electric blankets, under floor heating in the bathroom, Jotul slow combustion log fire, natural gas log fire, continuous natural gas hot water, T.V., Video, Hi Fi, incorporating a three stack C.D. player, Bosch dishwasher, Bosch Washing machine, gas barbecue, etc. etc.. |

Gloriously, deep red painted
walls in the master bedroom set the mood for an unashamedly luxurious
retreat. A Queen-sized mahogany four poster bed dressed with a rich
gold damask covered doona, sheepskin electric blankets and the finest
feather and down pillows will lull you into another world. |
| An escape. A true sanctuary. A colour which comes from metres deep in the ocean, rich and serene, graces the walls which are washed with soft lighting. A sofa so wide and deep that you will sink into a complete state of relaxation without being aware of the transformation. At night in particular, a private place that is your own, far from the madding crowd as the candles and flickering firelight sooth your senses and relax your soul. Natural gas log fire, T.V., video, Hi Fi (music can be switched through to the hidden speakers in the bathroom), books, games, video tapes and CDs are provided for you. Overhead spotlights illuminating the artwork; lights, lamps and reading lamps complete with dimmer switches in every room throughout the cottage ensure that you can control the mood at all times! |

AN EXERCISE IN INDULGENCE! Classically black and white, hand painted faux marble blocks set the mood for elegance and enjoyment. Exquisite and immensely deep, the Englefield oval spa nestles into a bay window overlooking the garden where custom made stained glass windows reach down to the level of the water. Open the champagne and unwind to your favourite music. Overhead and underfloor heating, continuous gas hot water, spotlights, dimmer switches, candles, bath salts, separate shower and huge fluffy towels are some of the features which will probably ensure that you never leave! |

It has it all! Perfectly placed, a Jotul
slow combustion wood fire effortlessly heats the whole house even when the
mountains are in deep winter and the snow is crisp on the ground! Your
kitchen is fully equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, Bosch washing machine,
oven/grill, hotplates, microwave, fridge/freezer etc.. The
cabinets are made from Tasmanian Oak and complement the limestone tiles on
the floor. The walls are hand painted in faux sandstone blocks. Generous provisions are provided upon your arrival. Homemade bread, homemade biscotti, heaps of ground coffee, three different teas, juice, milk, jam, marmalade, butter and cereals. (We have even supplied three different ways of making tea!) |

The open plan kitchen leads one
step up into the dining room. A wrought iron dining table sits
next to the huge French doors, which lead to the courtyard and garden
beyond. Whilst Leura's finest restaurants are located within a minute
and a half's stroll from Strawberry Patch, the thought of dining in can
prove to be a very attractive alternative. Intimate and romantic, the
picture is complete with floating candles and flowers on the dining table
and with the glow and warmth of the slow combustion log fire, the need to
venture out sometimes becomes redundant! |
| To the rear of the cottage, French doors open onto a private courtyard and garden. It is a perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee, lunch or late night nightcap in summer. |
